Tell our laboratory team what you would like to establish about a gemstone, diamond or piece of jewellery. Share the type of item, any existing documentation and the reason for your enquiry. The team can discuss the appropriate examination and arrangements before you submit your specimen.

Need to understand value?
Gemstone testing and jewellery valuation answer different questions. Testing concerns the characteristics and identity of a specimen. Valuation considers value for a stated purpose; identification may form part of that work.
Far East Gem Lab’s specialist valuation services address purposes including insurance, legacy planning, museum donations, family offices and legal matters. Discuss your intended use with the valuation team so the scope can be considered appropriately.
